Binary Simplex, Inc., a Maryland-based company, was founded in 2002 to explore alternatives to customary methods of 3D graphic manipulation. In early 2003 we filed an application with the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office titled "Spatial Decomposition Methods Using Bit Manipulation." In 2010 the patent was awarded as patent number 7,777,740.
